Creamy Brussel Sprouts
My family loves brussel sprouts, we usually eat them with butter or vinegar. I found this recipe and it had all the ingredient we liked, so we decided to give it a try! So Yummy!
Creamy Brussels Sprouts
4 slices of peppered bacon
2 lbs. brussel sprouts Trimmed and halved Make sure you cut them in half, I missed that the first time. They are much better halfed.
3/4 cup chicken broth
1/2 tsp kosher salt
1/4 tsp. black pepper
3/4 cup whipping cream
cracked pepper
In a 12 inch skillet cook bacon over medium heat until browned and crisp. Drain on paper towels. Reserve 2 Tablespoons drippings in skillet.
In the skillet add Brussl sprouts to drippings; cook and stir over medium heat 4 minutes. Add broth, salt, and pepper. Heat to boiling, reduce heat. Simmer., covered 5 minutes. Uncover; cook 2-4 minutes or until liquid is nearly evaporated. Add cream. Cook 4 minutes more or until thick.
transfer sprouts to serving dish sprinkle with crumbled bacon and cracked pepper.
